I love this cafe, based within the Wigan Investment Centre and is Wigans hidden Gem. Beautiful surroundings, based along the scenic canal. The food is amazing, Pat and her team are always looking for new options to add to the menu. The hot chocolates are out of this world, with cream and marshmallows. Recently started to have takeaway meals to heat up when we like, halloumi fries, salsa, garlic bread, wedges and salad is just the best. I totally recommend and if you haven't yet tried it for lunch then please do. The sandwiches are always made fresh and delicious. Lots of different fillings. 5*the staff are lovely and always happy to help. Thank you Red Pepper Café

Called in for lunch 11 Sept 2025 with my brother and we both had an all day breakfast which we both found to be good quality and value for money, the staff are also very friendly and could not do enough for us.

Needed a stop off on our long trip from Birmingham to Carlisle, which wasn't a motorway service station, so decided to stop off at Wigan Pier, both for curiosity about the place, and to hopefully find somewhere for a coffee and a bite to eat- but found this rather lacking here! Fortunately, with the aid of google, found the Red Pepper. It is situated in a large office block, housing different companies, but fortunately with the glass windows, signs, and some seats outside, managed to find it. The ladies serving were so friendly, made us feel really welcome, and were very forgiving of us when we tried to enter through the outside fire door! (unbeknown to me, the main entrance was off a corridor inside the block). The lattes were hot and delicious (very welcome after a long journey in not brilliant weather) and so were the sausage paninis, all served with friendly chat and a smile in clean and comfortable surroundings. This all made our stop off at Wigan Pier very enjoyable, and would definitely call in here again if in the area!
